Email Collection

We collect your email when you submit an app to communicate with you for additional information, questions, or corrections. We may also occasionally send you emails about major feature additions or significant changes to the site.

Newsletter Emails

Emails collected for our newsletter will be used to send updates about macOS apps that are free or discounted by 15% or more.

Deal Alerts

Deal alerts are optional and don't need an account. We store nothing for them unless you click "Alert me" on a deal and allow notifications in your browser. When you do, we store the notification address your browser gives us and the apps you follow, and use them only to notify you about new deals for those apps. The address belongs to your browser, not to you or your account, and doesn't include your name, email or any other personal information.

Notifications reach you through your browser's push service (such as Google, Apple or Mozilla), encrypted so that the service can't read them. You can turn alerts off or remove apps on the Deal Alerts page at any time, or block notifications for apps.deals in your browser's settings. Addresses that stop working are deleted automatically.

Promo Codes

We generate an anonymous identifier for each user who claims a promo code. This identifier helps us determine whether a user has already claimed a promo code for a specific deal. It does not contain any personally identifiable information (PII) and is not used for any other purpose.

Ads & Analytics

We may use Google Ads and Analytics to display ads and analyze website traffic.

Data Security

Your information is secure with us, and we will never share it with any third parties.
